Recommend grants to the charities you support!!!

Our Grant-Making Process:

You have the opportunity to develop and grow the organization that you support. We are looking for organizations with proven track records in the fields in which they operate. If you have an idea for an organization which you would like to see us support, please send us a letter or e-mail with your recommendation.

If your submission falls within our general areas of interest (see Who We Support), your request will be considered and reviewed for a potential grant. We are open to new ideas or new organizations which share the philosophy and values of the Barak Raviv Foundation.

High-quality recommendations are those which fall within the objectives and philosophy of the Foundation. They are likely to include charities with specific objectives that operate efficiently and responsibly to support their causes.

Please do not underestimate your “Giving Potential” through this site. We love to support the charities of friends and learn about new worthwhile organizations. We would welcome the opportunity to add your charity or your affinity organization to our list of beneficiaries.

Although the Foundation’s budget is capped, there are usually sufficient funds to support new organizations each year. If our review of your grant request is favorable, you may be contacted to discuss your ideas in detail.

Submissions are considered throughout the year. Activities supported by grants and program-related investments must be charitable as defined under the appropriate provisions of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code and Treasury Regulations.

Based on your specific recommendations, a cover letter is sent to each charity specifying the special purpose of the grant. You can also ask the Barak Raviv Foundation to recommend how the charity should direct the funds. Finally, grants to charities are accompanied by a letter requesting that the charity acknowledge the grant. If a charity you recommend is selected, you may request that the charity recognize the person or people inspiring the grant.
